Delete your Pub? account

You can delete your Pub? account and associated data in the app, or by email if you cannot access the app.


Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

  1. Open Pub? and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.


Option 2 — By email

If you cannot use the app, email fintan.lyons24@gmail.com from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my Pub? account”. We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove:

  • Your account and sign-in details (email/password or Apple/Google link)
  • Profile information (username, avatar)
  • Visited pubs, favourites, drink logs, and scores
  • Friends, friend requests, and league memberships you were part of
  • Push notification tokens for your device
  • Other app data tied to your user ID

What we may keep

  • Pub reports you submitted may be retained in anonymised form (without your account identity) so we can review venue corrections.
  • Backups may persist for a short period before automatic removal.
  • Data we must keep for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes, only as long as required by law.

Retention period

  • In-app deletion: processed immediately when you confirm in the app.
  • Email requests: within 30 days of verification.
